(Case study)

We created Poll-r.hu three years ago with three partners of mine. Poll-r is a social network application where users can create polls. Their polls than can be customized and exported to any website in flash format.

We started among the first sites with our service, and still are the only service like this in Hungary. We didn’t know how much people really needed this service, so we were very surprised to see that it simply grew like the most popular web2 applications.

It seemed like all the blogs started to use Poll-r, ad we got refferers we would have never thought to get. We reached several hundred thousand polls daily, which is quite a large number in the Hungarian web.

CT based advertisement in polls

Our new service is that we host advertisements and target them into the polls. They appear before the actual poll as a 20 second mini spot.

We can target measure, and follow the ads, and keep developing new business models like ROI.

Front end developments

After working quite a bit on front-end at Poll-r, I also started to work in other web developments, as a site-builder. I took part in several big projects in the recent years. I worked in Ruby, .Net, and Java platforms.
